It’s been a bit quiet these days around the almost world-famous Ola Baking Factory and the last time we reported about its business already dates back to March. And while it is still true to say that business has slowed down somewhat in the past two years, it has never been put completely on hold and the company still has old and new customers to supply with its various doughy products. Usually, the company is operating in cooperation with the recipe-provider Joy of Baking, looking back to many satisfying and fruitful years of baking tradition, but due to the recent demand for a very special product type, a chocolate cake with pears, Ola Baking Factory had to work with a third-party provider. The call for recipe bids was won by Epicurious, a recipe-provider so far totally unknown to the management of the baking factory, though their innovative suggestion for an Upside-Down Pear Chocolate Cake could convince even the most sceptic members of the board and the project was successfully implemented today. However, as the range of customers is wide and demand for cake and similar goodies always high, the company decided to bolster the output and produce some of their more traditional products, the slightly cinnamon-flavoured Snickerdoodles, in addition to the new cake product in the hope that this will help to satisfy all customers. The pictures given below should allow interested parties to gain some insight of the production process and have a first glance at the finished products.
